For UNISON members

Two ways to watch this September

For the whole of September 2026, UNISON members can watch The Line We Crossed as part of the festival. You can host your own screening with local members, or join us for one of two communal screenings.

Option one

Host your own screening

Bring the film to your branch or local members. During the festival, UNISON members have access to screen The Line We Crossed with their own group — a simple way to watch together and open up a conversation about protest, dissent and the right to speak out.

Stream the film for your screening on Vimeo. It's password-protected — email policy@unison.co.uk to request the password.

Option two

Join a communal screening

Watch the film with members from across UNISON at one of two shared online screenings, each with something extra either side of the film. Book your free place through Eventbrite.

Communal screenings

Two evenings, together

Both screenings run from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm and are free to UNISON members.

About the film

The Line We Crossed

A feature documentary about ordinary people who cross a line — from concern into action — and the price they are asked to pay for it. Filmed over the course of a turning point in the right to protest in Britain.
